Dear Corliss Customers,

Over the past two weeks Corliss made the decision to suspend all construction activities to follow Governor Baker's  “Stay at Home."  Since that time, we have carefully reviewed the details of the order and have had several discussions as a management team and with our employees. With that being said, we have determined that our field operations are EXEMPT from the Governor’s order.  Therefore, we have made the decision to return to work.

We have spent a considerable amount of time contemplating the most appropriate decision with regards to resuming operations.  We do not take this decision lightly as we have the utmost respect for our employees, customers, and the general public’s well being.  Through careful consideration we have determined that with proper preparations, policies and the endorsement of the government, we can effectively carry out our work.  We are not requiring employees to return to work.  If any of our employees do not feel comfortable working under the current circumstances, we respect their decision and their future work with us will not be in jeopardy.

As for our office, the office will remain closed to the public until the “Stay at Home” order has been lifted. During this time, we will continue to use our technological resources to work remotely.  Our remote office hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm.  If you have any questions please feel free to reach out via email at or via phone at (978) 356-4224.  Please note that phone calls may experience a backlog, so please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

We also understand that you, our valued customers, may not feel comfortable with us being on your property at this time.  We understand and respect that feeling and will do whatever it takes to work out an appropriate time for us to resume working at your property once you feel it is safe to do so.  For those of you who are comfortable with us completing work on your property at this time, rest assured that we will be following the protocols.  One employee per vehicle, cleansing products in all vehicles, gloves and masks when needed, as well as the 6 foot social distance spacing.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.  We can be reached at (978)356-4224 or at

We have included the link to the Massachusetts website where we found the supporting documentation to help in our determination.  Specifically, in two places one under “Public Works” and two under “General Questions – Essential Services Related” sixth bullet point.

Thank you for your continued support during these times!
